Hooter.in is operated by Webest Technologies Private Limited ("Hooter", "We", "Us", "Our"). This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains when and how refunds may be issued for payments made through Hooter, including vehicle listing fees, booking tokens and dealer subscriptions.
All prices are displayed in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
Used Car Listing Fees
When you pay to list, promote or advertise a vehicle through Hooter, the fee covers publishing your vehicle listing and providing visibility to potential buyers for the selected package duration.
- Full Refund Before Publication: If you cancel a paid listing before it is published on Hooter, you are eligible for a full refund.
- Non-Refundable After Publication: Once a listing has been published, the listing fee becomes non-refundable as the service has commenced.
- Failed Publication: If a paid listing fails to publish due to a technical error attributable to Hooter, the amount will be automatically refunded or credited back to the original payment method.
- Incorrect Charges: If you have been charged but your listing was never published, you must notify us within seven (7) days of the transaction for investigation and refund processing.
- No Guarantee of Leads or Sales: Hooter does not guarantee any minimum number of views, enquiries, calls, messages, leads or sales resulting from a listing. Lack of buyer response is not grounds for a refund.
Booking Token
A booking token may be paid to reserve a specific vehicle while a buyer completes inspection, verification or purchase formalities. Hooter acts solely as a marketplace facilitator and is not a party to the transaction between buyer and seller.
Hooter collects reservation token payments as a marketplace facilitator and may temporarily hold such amounts pending transaction completion, cancellation or refund processing.
- Seller Cancellation or Vehicle Unavailability: A full refund will be issued if the seller or dealer cancels the transaction, the vehicle becomes unavailable, or the vehicle is materially different from the information presented in the listing.
- Buyer Cancellation Within 24 Hours: A full refund will be issued if the buyer cancels within twenty-four (24) hours of paying the booking token and the vehicle has not been inspected, reserved for delivery or handed over.
- Cancellation After 24 Hours: Refund requests made after twenty-four (24) hours may be subject to deductions or may be declined depending on the circumstances of the reservation.
- Completed Purchase: If the vehicle purchase is completed, the booking token shall be adjusted against the final vehicle price and shall not be separately refundable.
- Refund Timeline: Approved booking token refunds are generally processed within five (5) to seven (7) business days to the original payment method.
Dealer Subscription (Partner App)
Dealers may purchase subscription plans to access the Hooter Partner App, dealer tools, inventory management features, buyer leads, seller leads and other services offered by Hooter.
- Seven (7) Day Refund Window: Dealers may request a refund within seven (7) days from the date of subscription purchase.
- Refund Review: Refund requests submitted within the seven (7) day period will be reviewed by Hooter. Hooter reserves the right to reject refund requests where the platform has been misused, fraudulent activity has occurred or these Terms and Conditions have been violated.
- After Seven (7) Days: Subscription fees become non-refundable after the expiry of the seven (7) day refund period.
- No Guarantee of Lead Volume: Lead volume, enquiry volume and business opportunities may vary based on location, inventory, market conditions and user demand. Lower-than-expected lead volume is not grounds for a refund.
- Service Availability: If the Hooter Partner App becomes unavailable for an extended period due solely to a technical issue attributable to Hooter, Hooter may, at its sole discretion, extend the subscription period or provide an equivalent service credit.
Payment Failures and Duplicate Charges
If a payment is successfully debited but the associated service, listing, booking or subscription is not activated due to a technical failure, or if a duplicate charge occurs, the amount will generally be reversed automatically by the payment gateway.
If the amount is not reversed within seven (7) business days, please contact Hooter with the payment reference number for assistance.

Refund requests are generally acknowledged within two (2) business days and eligible refunds are typically processed within five (5) to seven (7) business days.
Approved refunds will be credited to the original payment method used during the transaction.
General Conditions
- Hooter reserves the right to request additional information before processing any refund request.
- Refunds may be denied where fraud, abuse, misuse of services or violation of Hooter's Terms & Conditions is suspected.
- Refund timelines may vary depending on banks, payment gateways and financial institutions.
