Variants
The V10 supercar is available in a single variant. It is positioned between the Huracan Evo RWD and the Huracan STO.
Market introduction
Lamborghini introduced the Huracan Tecnica in India on 25 August.
Engine specification
Mechanically, the Huracan Tecnica is powered by a 5.2-litre V10 engine which produces 640bhp and 565Nm of torque at 6,500rpm. This engine comes mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. Further, for a superior driving experience, it offers multiple drive modes: Strada, Sport, and Corsa. The vehicle is capable of sprinting from zero to 100kmph in just 3.2 seconds and has a top speed of 325kmph.
Exterior
The fascia is highlighted by an inwards-facing front and complemented by redesigned bumper featuring Terzo Millennio’s black Ypsilon design. Interestingly, the bumper incorporates an air curtain for the first time in the Huracan. Additional styling elements include a new front splitter and open slats directing air through the wheel. Moreover, the vehicle gets a lightweight fully carbon fibre hood.
The vehicle rides on a set of Damiso 20-inch diamond cut wheels with a hexagonal design. These wheels are wrapped around the Bridgestone Potenza Sport tires. The fixed rear wing claims to reduce rear downforce by 35 per cent as compared to the Huracan EVO RWD. Moreover, the drag is also reduced by 20 per cent.
Interior
The Lamborghini Huracan Tecnica gets premium Alcantara upholstery and multiple customisation options to meet individual needs. The new HMI interface is exclusive to the Tecnica and the centre console features the touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Amazon Alexa. Moreover, the driver’s instrument panel reduces colours and emphasizes readability in a large new ‘arc’.
Seating capacity
The performance focussed vehicle offers a two-seat layout.
Competition
The vehicle competes against the likes of the Porsche 911 GT3 RS, Ferrari F8 Tributo, and the McLaren 720S.
