The 2023 Jeep Compass was launched in India on 16 September, 2023.

The Jeep Compass is offered in seven variants, including Sport, Longitude, Night Eagle, Longitude (O), Black Shark, Limited (O), and Model S (O). 

What features are available in the Jeep Compass? 

Exterior: 

The SUV sports the signature seven-slat front grille with chrome inserts and sleek LED headlamps with integrated LED DRLs.  The bumper has also been reworked, and it now gets a black horizontal air intake in the middle flanked by LED fog lamps. The 18-inch alloys are also new with a new five-spoke two-tone design. 

Interior: 

On the inside, the party piece is the floating 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with FCA’s latest Uconnect 5 now placed above the aircon vents. Further, there’s an all-digital 10.2-inch instrument cluster and a new three-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel. Other additions to the cabin include wireless smartphone charging, front ventilated seats, a panoramic sunroof, a 360-degree camera setup, a power tailgate, cruise control, and eight-way power-adjustable front seats with the driver side getting a memory function.  

What are the powertrain details and specifications of the Jeep Compass?

The Jeep Compass is powered by a BS6 Phase 2-compliant 2.0-litre turbo diesel engine. It puts out 168bhp and 350Nm torque. As for the transmission, it is paired with a six-speed manual and a nine-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. Additionally, it can be had with 4x2 and 4x4 systems.
