Market introduction:
The Rolls-Royce Phantom VIII was launched in India on 23 February 2018. This is the current flagship model made by Rolls-Royce Motor Cars.
Variants:
The Rolls-Royce Phantom VIII is available in two wheelbase options. The Rolls-Royce Phantom Extended Wheelbase (EWB), or the Phantom Extended, is a special variant of the Phantom, which is 220mm longer than the standard model.
Engine and transmission:
Powering the Rolls-Royce Phantom VIII is a 6.8 litre, V-12 engine that produces 650bhp and 900Nm of torque. This engine is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission that sends power to the rear wheels.
Exterior:
On the outside, the Rolls-Royce Phantom VIII features the signature Pantheon grille flanked by sleek Lased LED headlamps on either side. Sitting proudly above the grille is the Spirit of Ecstasy hood ornament, while the posterior features a new set of LED tail lights. A few other notable features of the model include electrically-controlled pneumatic bellow, active anti-roll bars, and adaptive dampers, which are called Magic Carpet Ride in Rolls Royce speak.
Interior:
The interiors of the Rolls-Royce Phantom VIII are equipped with suicide doors, an LCD screen replacing the analogue console for the instrument cluster, a Hi-Res HUD, second-row seats with reclining function, dual infotainment screens, and a drinks cabinet in the centre. Moreover, it also gets umbrellas embedded in the rear doors.
Safety and features:
Phantom VIII's vast list of features includes a four-camera system with a panoramic view, alertness-assistant, a Wi-Fi hotspot, laser headlights with a high-beam range of more than 600 meters, adaptive cruise control, and a 7x3 HD Head-up display.

The Rolls-Royce Phantom has a seating capacity of five occupants.

The Rolls-Royce Phantom VIII is broadly available in 17 different colours – Petra Gold, Imperial Jade, Iguazu-Blue, Smokey Quartz, Graphite, Darkest Tungsten, Silver, Diamond Black, Red, Arctic White, Black, Grey, Salamanca Blue, English White, Dark Emerald, Belladonna Purple, and Anthracite.
