In terms of updates, the 2024 GLS gets revised bumpers, new grille with horizontal slats, tweaked LED headlamps, refreshed LED taillights, glossy black inserts, and a set of new 20-inch alloy wheels. Inside, changes are in the form of the latest MBUX infotainment system, 360-degree camera, two interior themes, and the signature transparent bonnet function.
What are the engine, performance, and specifications of the Mercedes-Benz GLS facelift?
Under the hood, the new GLS is powered by a 3.0-litre, six-cylinder diesel engine as the one seen in the outgoing model. This motor, paired with a nine-speed automatic gearbox, generates an output of 326bhp and 700Nm. The petrol engine in the 450 guise is also a 3.0-litre six-cylinder engine, producing 375bhp and 500Nm. Both versions get 4MATIC AWD and an eight-speed AT as standard.
