The Mercedes-AMG EQS 53 was introduced in the country on 24 August, 2022.
Engine and specification
The electric performance sedan is powered by two permanently agitated synchronous motors, which are powered by a 107.8 kWh battery pack. The all-wheel drivetrain produces 751bhp and 1,020Nm of torque. The vehicle has a WLTP range of 529-586kms. Further, the car can sprint from zero to 100kmph in just 3.4 seconds, while the top speed is limited to 250kmph. It offers a maximum charging capacity of 200kW and offers 30 minutes fast charge from 10-80 per cent SOC in DC charging.
Exterior
The Mercedes-AMG EQS 53 has a length of 5,223mm, a width of 1,926mm, and a height of 1,515mm. The wheelbase stands at 3,210mm. The fascia is highlighted by a black panel grille and chrome vertical struts with integrated ‘AMG’ lettering Mercedes star. Moreover, the electric vehicle gets ‘Digital Light’ headlamps and a high gloss front splitter with chrome detail.
Interior
The Mercedes-AMG EQS 53 gets Grey Artico leather on the instrument panel and beltlines. Further, the vehicle receives sporty AMG spec sports seats, floor mats, and door sill trims. The AMG performance seats are wrapped in black Nappa leather, while the dashboard is highlighted by a humongous 55.5-inch wide MBUX hyper screen with an AI-enabled adaptive display. Moreover, the display gets 12 actuators which provide haptic feedback during operation. To enhance the overall experience, the EQS 53 offers 710W Burmester 3D surround sounds with 15 speakers and multiple ambient lighting options to suit every mood.
