When was the Citroen C3 launched?
The India-spec Citroen C3 was launched on 20 July, 2022. Later, it received the BS6 Phase 2 update in March 2023. For 2024, the carmaker has introduced some more updates.

The standout element of the Citroen C3 is the signature split headlamps with a dual-slat chrome grille characteristic of the French brand’s design language. It sits on 15-inch, diamond-cut, alloy wheels with body cladding all around. The car gets fog lamps, squared-off taillamps, silver-finished skid plates, and a rear bumper-mounted number plate recess. The 2024 update brings in LED projector headlamps for the top-spec models.
Inside its cabin, the C3 is equipped with a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system compatible with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. The driver's seat gets height adjustment along with other features like remote keyless entry, steering-mounted controls, and tilt-adjustable steering. Additionally, the latest updates comprise electrically adjustable ORVMs, automatic climate control, rear parking camera, day/night IRVM, rear wiper and washer, and a rear defogger. Moreover, as a part of the 2024 update, all variants get six airbags as standard.
What are the engine, performance, and specifications of the Citroen C3?
Powering the C3 is a three-cylinder 1.2-litre petrol engine, which is available as a naturally aspirated or turbocharged unit. The former mill produces 81bhp and 115Nm, while the latter has an output of 109bhp and 190Nm. There’s no automatic version available for the C3 yet, but two manual gearbox choices where the naturally aspirated version gets a five-speed manual while the turbo-petrol version comes mated to a six-speed unit.
