Volvo India slashes XC60 and XC90 prices by up to ₹6.92 lakh under GST 2.0, offering premium SUVs at more accessible rates.

Volvo Cars India has revealed massive reductions in the prices of two of its best-selling SUVs, as benefits emerge from the updated GST 2.0 regime. The new prices will apply from 22 September 2025, which provides buyers with increasing opportunities of owning a luxury SUV from Volvo whilst enjoying better value.

The popular mid-size luxury Volvo SUV, the XC60 receives a price increase of ₹4.79 lakh, so that the updated ex-showroom price is ₹67.10 lakh. The flagship SUV, the XC90 sees a larger reduction of ₹6.92 lakh and its updated price is ₹96.97 lakh.

Please note that the price reductions only apply to the internal combustion engine (ICE) line-up and do not apply to its EV models, such as XC40 Recharge or C40 Recharge, because the GST framework for EVs is different and has not changed in the revised tax structure.

Commenting on the development, Jyoti Malhotra, Managing Director of Volvo Car India, said that the brand is focused on bringing the luxury segment of the market within reach of the Indian buyer. He added that Volvo’s ‘Double Festive Delight’ offer is going to improve the value to customers, which cements the brand’s strong position leading into the festive season.

Through the revised prices, Volvo hopes to keep its profile higher in the luxury segment in India while incentivising buyers to trade up to a designer SUV.
