Tata upgrades Curvv and Curvv EV interiors with 2-zone AC and seat ventilation.

Tata Motors has introduced significant enhancements for both the regular Curvv SUV and its electric counterpart, the Curvv EV. These new features are exclusive to the higher-end versions of the vehicles.

What’s New on the Inside?

The primary focus of this update is to boost comfort and luxury in the top trims:

  • Improved Air Conditioning: Both models now feature a two-zone automatic climate control system, enabling the driver and front passenger to set separate temperatures.
  • Added Comfort: Passengers will appreciate the new seat ventilation for the rear seats, rear window sunshades, and a rear armrest that includes built-in cup holders.
  • A Brighter Look: The interiors feature a stylish new dual-tone color scheme (Lalitpur Grey) and a white carbon fibre trim across the dashboard, giving the cabin a lighter, more premium feel.

Exclusive Updates for the Curvv EV

The all-electric Curvv EV receives a few extra touches for passenger comfort:

  • Premium Seating: It now comes with a special winged headrest.
  • Ergonomics: An elevated floorboard is added to serve as a footrest, improving the seating position.
  • Tata also states that the overall interior space for both the ICE and EV Curvv SUVs has been improved.

Where You Can Find the Updates

These enhancements are available on the:

  • ICE Curvv: The 'Accomplished' trim.
  • Curvv EV: The 'Empowered' and 'Accomplished' trims.

Engine and Powertrain Options (Unchanged)

The Curvv continues to offer three engine choices with options for both 6-speed manual and dual-clutch automatic transmissions (DCT):

  • Petrol Engines: A 1.2-litre turbo-petrol (120hp) and a more powerful 1.2-litre turbo-petrol (125hp).
  • Diesel Engine: A 1.5-litre diesel unit (118hp).

The Curvv EV still offers two battery pack options (45kWh or 55kWh), delivering either 150hp or 167hp, with both providing 210Nm of torque.
