Tata Motors has announced the launch of an updated Nexon EV with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) in India. The new variant starts at ₹17.29 lakh (ex-showroom) and brings the Nexon EV to an even safer and more technologically sophisticated level.

Enhanced Safety With ADAS
The most important update to the Nexon EV is the inclusion of ADAS features, which bring an extra layer of active safety to the Nexon EV. There are functions like lane departure warning, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, blind spot monitoring, and adaptive cruise control. Features such as these, which add more confidence to the driver and decrease the chance of an accident occurring, are particularly useful for highway driving.
Design & Features
On the exterior, the Nexon EV keeps its bold style, coupe-like stance and distinctive LED lighting elements. Similarly, the interior is also unchanged and maintains the premium cabin feel; this includes a large touchscreen infotainment system, connected car features, a 360-degree camera, ventilated seats and wireless charging. The Nexon EV with ADAS very well may be the most technologically loaded version of the Nexon EV yet.
Battery, Range, and Performance
Tata continues to offer the Nexon EV in both Medium Range (MR) and Long Range (LR) variants. The MR version has an official range of up to 325 km, while the LR version has an official range of up to 465 km under a single charge. Both the variants have fast charging capability which can charge the battery from 10-80% in less than an hour!
Pricing and Variants
The Tata Nexon EV with ADAS has started from ₹17.29 lakh for the base variant and incrementally priced as you go further up the variants which should attract city commuters and longer-distance EV commuters. With ADAS included, Tata Motors has further developed the Nexon EV as one of the safest and most feature-rich electric SUVs in its segment.
