Good news for those waiting on Maruti Suzuki's first electric car! After some delays, the company has officially confirmed the launch date for the e-Vitara electric SUV.
The price of this brand-new electric model will be announced on December 2, 2025.

The e-Vitara is a very important car for Maruti because it's the first of four electric vehicles (BEVs) the company plans to release in India by the year 2030.
- Production is On: Maruti has already started making the e-Vitara at its factory in Gujarat. They have even shipped the first 6,000 units overseas to places like Europe and the UK.
- Options: When it launches in India, you will be able to choose from 10 different colours and three different versions (variants) of the e-Vitara.

Power and Range
The e-Vitara will come with a choice of two different battery sizes to power the front wheels (FWD):
- Battery Options: A smaller 48.8kWh pack or a larger 61.1kWh pack.
- Range: Maruti claims the car can travel up to 500km on a single full charge.
- Fast Charging: If you use a DC fast charger, you can power up the battery from empty to 80% full in just 50 minutes.
