Honda 0 Alpha EV interior spied in India; launch set for FY 2026-27.

Honda has officially started testing its first electric SUV for India, currently known as the 0 Alpha. This new model is expected to be a major competitor to the upcoming Hyundai Creta EV. Recent spy photos have finally given us a look inside the cabin, revealing a unique hexagon-shaped steering wheel equipped with controls and paddle shifters to adjust the regenerative braking.

The interior is designed for comfort and convenience, featuring an auto-dimming rearview mirror and built-in sunshades for passengers in the back seat. On the outside, the SUV sports a modern look with flush-fitting door handles and aerodynamic black wheels. It also borrows some familiar parts from the Honda Elevate, such as the side mirrors, while adding its own flair with vertically stacked taillights and a sleek rear spoiler.

Honda plans to make India a major hub for this vehicle, manufacturing it locally for both Indian drivers and international exports. You can expect to see the 0 Alpha hit the roads sometime during the 2026-2027 fiscal year.
