Citroen passes on full GST 2.0 benefits, reducing prices across its complete range starting from 22 September.

Citroen India has stated that it will pass on the full benefits of the new GST 2.0 tax structure to customers. Starting 22 September, every one of its models will be cheaper by varying amounts. This decision follows swiftly after the launch of Citroen's C3X and Basalt X, and is in line with Citroen's strategy of enhancing accessibility and value for customers and the growing brand.

Revised Price of Model After GST 2.0

The most affordable products from Citroen, the C3 hatchback and the C3X sedan, have been made cheaper by ₹84,000, making them both attractive options for customers in the entry-level marketplace. The C3 Aircross SUV is also benefiting from a GST discount of up to ₹50,000. The newly launched Basalt and Basalt X start from ₹7.95 lakh (ex-showroom) for even more competitive mid-range pricing.

The Citroen C5 Aircross remains Citroen's flagship and has received the greatest reduction. The Shine variant is now ₹2.7 lakh less at ₹37.32 lakh ex-showroom, making this premium SUV an even more preferred choice among customers seeking comfort and features among luxury buyers.

Kumar Priyesh, Director of Automotive Brands, Stellantis India, observed that cutting the tax will help make modern and efficient mobility available to more people. With the festival season ahead - including Onam, Navratri, Eid, and Diwali- we expect sales momentum to improve as customer demand strengthens.

By transferring the benefits of GST in its entirety, Citroen continues to demonstrate a commitment to customer value and their growth ambitions in India.
