Regional Transport Office (RTO)

Regional Transport Office or Regional Transport Authority also known as RTO or RTA is an Indian Government organisation. This organisation maintains a database of drivers and vehicles of different states in India. The Regional Transport Office issues the driving license. The Motor Vehicles Department was established under section 213(1) of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1998. The mortar vehicle department has the authority to impose several requirements of this act.
