The five-door Mahindra Thar will be introduced in India on15 August, 2024.

Performance

The  Mahindra SUV is expected to be powered by a 2.0-litre mStallion turbo-petrol motor and a 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engine. Transmission options are likely to include six-speed manual and automatic units

Features

The five-door Mahindra Thar might retain the design and feature list from the three-door model it is based on. A few feature highlights could include 18-inch alloy wheels, the signature six-slat grille design, square tail lights, chunky wheel cladding, cruise control, remote keyless entry, a seven-inch touchscreen infotainment system, TPMS, power windows, and a roll-cage.

Rivals

This five-door iteration will rival the likes of the five-door versions of Force Gurkha and Maruti Suzuki Jimny.
