When was the Citroen C3 launched?

The standout element of the Citroen C3 is the split-headlamp signature with a dual-slat chrome grille characteristic of the French brand’s design language. It sits on 15-inch, diamond-cut, alloy wheels with body cladding all around. You also get fog lamps, squared-off taillamps, silver-finished skid plates, and a rear-bumper mounted number plate recess.

On the inside, the cabin of the new C3 comes equipped with a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system, which also has wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. The driver’s seat gets height adjustment along with other features like remote keyless entry, steering-mounted controls, and tilt-adjustable steering. Additionally, with the latest update, it also gets electrically adjustable ORVMs, rear parking camera, day/night IRVM, fog lights, rear wiper and washer, and a rear defogger.

What are the powertrain details and specifications of the Citroen C3?

Powering the C3 in India is a BS6 Phase 2-updated 1.2-litre engine, which is available as a naturally aspirated or turbocharged unit. Where the former produces 81bhp and 115Nm, the latter has an output of 109bhp and 190Nm. There’s no automatic version available for the C3 yet, but two manual gearbox choices where the naturally aspirated version has a five-speed manual while the turbo-petrol version comes mated to a six-speed manual gearbox.
